which are the best full-band (preferbly) low CPU compressors?
i use Golden Compressor for everything except the Kick and Sidechains\Group Channels... is it a good choice? i like it but i haven't tried many.
if possible state the best compressor for each thing (hats, snare, bassline, leads, etc.) |

hi there
i don´t know if its the best choice but normaly i use Waves C1 sc compressor for side chainning, and for kick and bass i use Waves L1.
For drums i normaly use Sinus Peak Compressor not because its quality is that good, but because it displays in real time the waveform, makin it easier for you to know exactly the peaks that you are cuting in the drums or dumloops. this is really usefull for drum loops as it makes it easy not to compress too much the drumloops. |
