Boom !
I use an external mastering rack (includind Compressor, Multiband Enhancer+Surround processor and Stereo Imager) but i still don't like the results. The sound san no "dinamic"enough on powerful systems.
Should i use also different compressor on each track ? Or maybe only on drums and bassline ?

yeah, you propably want to make the individual tracks stand out more.,

you can use track compression/limiting or just a different type of sound., or maybe a form of distortion.,

it depends on the sound wether you should make it louder but if your endmix is not ok (dynamics wise) then that's a good indicator that you need to spice things up a bit.,

Each element in the track has to have it's own settings for the compressor, EQ and whatever, as each sound has different properties. Working any other way will probably give you some big fuck ups in your sound.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222

agree with kaz
try to run each ch' thru the mastering rack and record back to audio into the pc
then, when each ch compressed seperatly u can run it thru the box again for final mixdown

anyway compression is huge isue
u might ending up with changing few compressors till u find one that satisfy u
work out

Compressors can be a real bitch before you learn how to master them.

I use about 5-15 compressors simultaniously on different parts of my mix when I produce. But it has taken me ages to understand them and learn how to use them well.

I dont think I can use them well, but I try anyway!
I recently started using the Blockfish on some channels, especially percussion....

it's pretty good although it is a bit strange - doesnt have 'attack/release' but instead 'compression amount' and 'speed'. Also it is FREE so you can feel morally at peace while using it. It's a bit like a free version of the PSP mixpressor i guess.
