I like bus compression on my kick and bass...Really glues them together and seems to make them one element.

i do believe compression is an important thing in dance music , since its all about the dynamics and punch and fast transients in this genre , so different types of compressors different ways of usiing them , different GR for what you want to compress , all in all compressors are super usefull if you know how and where to put them
