as send is called parallel compression and is more often used on drum tracks, passing all of them them through a compressor with extreme (usually) settings to bring them more snap and mix that with the rest

I think the right answer would be whats the difference between puting the compressor on the main bass chanel or as group send?

(I wanna know that answer)

well if its on main it affects only that channel, if its on group its affects all in the group and adds just compression to the whole group.. You should get original + compressed signal and only on main u will get just compressed signal.. If its on group and not send than u get just compressed group..

jizzy, I saw URS has pultec replikas, didnt know PSP has one also..           http://www.facebook.com/xrayzproductions

i use them all on one channel, no colouration to the sound. (offtopic) i recommend these URS eq's needed a bruva

they also replicate the
AMEK eqs of the brittish oldskool series
