01 - Dynamo - Wildstyle
very nice track all eskimo sound i realy like this new project
nice bass line with soft tricks the sound on the talking is very uniqe.
02 - X-Noize - Mental Note
very powerfull opening these dudes can really do the work!!!
amazing work with the sounds and beat.
03 - Mindfield vs. Cosmosis - This Is Me
well bit minimalistic sounds but still very moving beat
04 - Dickster - Little World
very rapping and padding the mind... deep sounds
like the end very warming and upliftting
05 - Hypersonic - Crystal Wave
sounds of the past ... very goadelic and happy
06 - Orion - Universal Ping Pong
the begining - strong bass line and nocturnal sounds - orion way of music!!!!
then starting to play in ur mind with atmospheric sounds
07 - Cycle Sphere - Bow Wow
jumping bass line creates a jumping tempo nice track
08 - Cosmosis - Dead Or Alive
powerfull sounds and bass line. great tricks and stretching sounds creates a wicked vibe
09 - Spacecat - City Of Dust
well avi is a king!!! excellent work here. i just love the way he makes every sound spacy
killer tempo with amaziing tricks.
10 - Black and White - Myladylay 47
funky tune here makes u move no matter where u at.
good work!!!!!!
all in all this compilation is jumping pumping and powerfull

tracks that i liked - 5 (crazy melody) , 7 from 4:56 becomes a destroyer of brain  .
10 - black and white - 4:30 - BOOMMMMMM
all tracks are really good - some are better

i JUst love this compilation so much...
xnoise track a banger! cycle sphere and dynamo... well it is nothing compared to whats coming  and rest of the tracks... resumed in one word BLASTERS!!!

Great v/a, Congratulations Phantasm crew!
every track is a blaster, my favourits are X-noise, Hypersonic , cycle sphere ,space cat and black and white .....realy massive tracks....
X-noise is kicking ass track with crazy synths, hypersonic track is realy nice start with groove changing the direction to full on...realy nice.Cycle sphere impressed me a lot, I am counting to hear more about this young project. Space cat is a powerfull track, nice melodies and good guitar!
Black and white uhuuuuu...maybe the best from this v/a...what a groovy bassline and cool samples.  right on! Energetic to the bone !!
Keep with the good releases Phantasm Records!

Great comp.
The Eskimo stuff is getting a bit formulaic (a good formula though )
The X-noize track is a wonderfull exemple of the theory less = more..The entrance after the break is just sick! Love it
Hypersonic - crystal wave is a nice Sub6 rip-off...too bad he ruins it for me by throwing in some stereotype isra-lead.
And the tracks by Orion and Dickster are flawless. |

1. i didnt like the dynamo track, i thought it lacked a "point"... i usually enjoy their tracks cause they are more like stories with stages and such going on in them..... this one, kinda pointless in my opinion.
2. X-Noize, also not the best track so far from them, but not bad at all with good sounds and trippy build.
4. i like this track, kind of an old feeling and getting away from the blasters on this album, very clever track - awesome ideas and good execution.
5. this one was extremely hyped up before it was released... pretty good, clean production on it.
9. spacecat - sounds like his version of gms a la spacecat... good track, but i didnt think its true spacecat style. awesome melodies.
10. i got a problem with this track, i dont like the aggressive samples on it and i think there is a mistake on the production actually, some sample gets in the loop im almost sure by mistake cause it sounds out of place... that ruined that track for me. i cant deal with stuff like that. anyone know what im talking about, ill try to listen to it today to pin point the exact time this happens.
not a bad cd... i think full-on fans will appreciate it. i wished for more out of this and from the person who recommended it to me.

Cycle Sphere - very original and refreshing sound. great melodies, the ones that are both dark and uplifting at the same time, creates a strong emotion for me.
Mindfield Vs. Cosmosis - stomper with great
production and nice sample
Dynamo- can't touch Eskimo, his sounds are incredible. heard this on a rocking system this weekend and lost it!
Black and White - These guys ROCK!
Surrender: Not affended by the sample at all, I actually agree that "guns dont kill people, people kill people." I dont think they intended to affend anyone. "they start blasting off, aint none of yall going home" probably intended as a metaphor - a dj starts rocking it, nobody is going to leave the dancefloor. |
