The review:
As I recall this was the last Tatsu compilation before the label was closed and this is a pretty good compilation. Everybody was talking about the Pure Bliss compilation at the time, and this one seemed to get lost in the shuffle. Anyway, let me take you through the tracks at lightspeed with some short info on every track. Track 1 immediately starts good, a laid back groove which sits in your mind very pleasantly. Good beginning. Track 2 is more of a stomper, not as smooth as the Fiction track. Still, a solid (albeit pretty standard) proggy track here. FREq comes up with a really standard track, not one of his best and instantly forgettable. Track 4 is more in the vein of track 1, pretty good stuff, only a bit short perhaps at nearly 6 minutes. Echotek delivers a crisp sounding track, not unlike his latest album. Not bad, and it fits here nicely. Track 6 is by Loom and one of my faves besides track 1. Good work on the flow here and it's one of those proggy tracks I instantly like, with a good groove and padsounds. Track 7 by Haldolium is a bit harder, but a great track and one of Haldolium's better ones IMO. Nice work. Finally track 8 is again a fave of mine, the groove is very pleasant and there's a good work on the rhythm section of the track, making it sound fresh.

Conclusion time: A pretty standard proggy compilation with some good tracks. Only one obvious downpoint for me is that it's only 59 minutes. There could've easily been squeezed one or two tracks extra on this. Shame. That aside, in style this is very similar to the various Plusquam compilations. This one is also compiled by Laureth, who also compiles compilations for Plusquam. If you like the Plusquam style, you'll like this. Psyshop still ships it, so if you want to pay your respects to a foregone label, I suggest you get this.
My faves: 1,6,7,8.
