State of the art!
This is short and simple, and the best way to describe the Cocoon Compilations A to E.

This motto is also true for the latest issue: the Cocoon Compilation F is without doubt the hottest collection of exclusive tracks of the hippest producers, newcomers and hit suppliers within the last months. Here, Minimal meets Tech House, with the result that both the club-orientated tech head as well as the electronic music fan in his living room are happy: open your mind!

The start of the "Journey to F" is provided by Pier Bucci, an exile chilean who is now living in Berlin. He produced for Lo-Fi-Stereo and Crosstown Rebels and released on Luciano's Cadenza label. His track takes us into the soundscapes of the Compilation F from the very first second on.

Minimal beats and bubbling bass lines are fathoming the frequencies below 50 Hz and form an ideal transition to the slightly shuffled minimal pusher by Guido Schneider (Pokerflat Berlin).

With "Fetch My Blades", Adam Proll aka Adam Kroll is then shifting gears and comes 'round the corner with some rocking material, before Cocoon all star Johannes Heil draws the bow from deep elegant Techno to raspy acid sounds with his contribution "One".

Dutch shooting star 2000 and One bows before the kicking House sound of Kevin Saunderson with "Tropical Melons" – as one can guess from the name, this one will be one of the hottest tracks of the Ibiza season this year!

Gregor Tresher gives his debut at the Cocoonclub Frankfurt this summer, and already shows us some of his producer skills on Compilation F. His "Full Range Madness" will also be a big hit this summer and stays in the hit tradition of the last productions (Holden, Rother, Koletzki, Flügel): Acid meets Trance meets Electro.

Andreas Kauffelt from Frankfurt moves to kicking old school and pumping 909 beats with his contribution, borrowing from neo trance here and there – the perfect track before Mathew Jonsons "Sub-Atomic": a sexy-as-hell follow up to his big hit "Zombie Biker", which plays with similar elements but is much more minimal and housy at the same time: one of this compilation's big hits, for sure!

The current darling of the Cocoon Recordings crew is Guy Gerber. His very unique sound in House tempo is extremely eclectic and matches both the prime time on the Main Floor as well as the sunrise after hour on the beach. Tip!

With "Liquid Daydream", Zürich based producer & DJ Serafin delivers a first class Minimal Acid burner. It shows his affectation for the sound of Luciano and Mathew Jonson, and includes his influences in an almost cineastic soundtrack, which will make Blade Runner fans freak out totally!

Finally, David K provides the right amount of craziness for the package with "Dissonance" and leads us into a world beyond 10 h in the morning at Panoramabar Berlin. Hardcore you know the score! Alex Smoke tops it off with his downbeat-like contribution, which sometimes reminds of Dr. Rockit's "wishmountain" series or releases of the british Plaid project. Moody but still kicking and crazy at the same time – definitely the right track to touch ground again after a journey through eleven tracks of this Compilation F.

other than a couple of tracks, the samples arn't grabbing me on this one and these comps are really expensive... pink vinyl is tempting though

After listening to the samples the only track i liked in this compilation was Gregor Tresher´s ( although nothing really groundbreaking but still a good filler ), the rest i think it´s just drowning in monotony even in a minimal context...or maybe they´re just to forward looking to me !
