well, got to the party at around 4pm on friday, started setting up the tents and the mats, a nice foresty place (although there was a party there like 3 months ago), but this time you could emmidiatly tell that the organizing was great, well at least that what i thought.
There was free water, pettel, dancefloor was set up great, fine decorations and these huge funky couches, food, cheap beer, smiling faces and a variety of different people, a composition for a blowout party.
From around 7pm till like 12 or 1 there was very nice chill out and ambient which got everyone into the mood, not really shure who played, but it was very nice and relaxing, perfect for the nature toke. Then at around 1am asaf from domo came on and played great prog/minimal classics ranging from fabio to sensient and just great shit, very groovy. By the end of his set the whole dancefloor was grooving it finely, really liked his set, a very fine set i was only expecting the quality to get finer, and then someone went on after asaf and simply switched the atmosphere from a nice groovy minimal one to a VERY fullone crazy/weird one. Everyone was going wild, i have no clue what made the crowd go so fucked up(well actually i do jeje), but to summerize it people were dancing to shit music, a terrible extremely full on set followed by frat who played even more crap set, only a couple nice songs, but old, and then that followed by the generator fucking up at like 630am, not the way to do it...
to summerize this one, great location, great people, crappy sets from frat and the other dude i didnt even bother finding out his name, what happened to the old morning melodies that compact used to have, simply going to commercial, too full on guys, not the compact i used to know, i was looking forward for visual, as he is always great, but yeah, whatever, bad music compact
cheers to asafs set and to the great crowd which showed up to make the mood a little better for this yom kippur, and whats up with those arabs playing void for like 3 hours, fucking dumbasses man!!

Because it's not the same party.

Hallo Trance lovers.
First of all I want to say that this is a "Behind The Logic" party which happens every year and as I wrote on our mail Compact joined them this year to help with the promotion.
Behind The Logic are known for their great parties, well organized and always with good vibes but what to do sometimes things can go very wrong there is nothing to do about it.

About the music, Asaf from Domo is a very good dj and a good friend but I am sorry to tell you that as much as I heard he didn't play any minimal set and I was expecting him to play a bit slower but all to all he gave a nice beginning to the party.
After him played Michael which gave a very nice night set to my opinion.

Elroacho: I am very sorry I didn't asked you what to play, next time I will give you a call before to see what you like.
I agree it wasn't the set of my life but it's very hard to play when there are very unfriendly vibes on the dance floor.
While you were relaxing at your tent listening to chill out the organizers had to deal first with the police and then with some very scary people from around the area who came and took a lot of money for protection!!!
Then after 15 minutes I was playing some guy came to the dj table and fell on it and broke one of the CDJs and stopped the party.
Then the next CDJ was jumping and was switched again, then after 1 hour of fighting with the equipment I was trying to get back into business, one hour later at 6:30 the Generator blow up, this is something no one can expect and you can't blame anyone for that, things like that can happen.

I stayed at the location until 12:00 and I agree that the music that was coming from the cars and the bloons was too much but still we enjoyed the nature and the friendly faces.

About the full on scene, well it's true and it's not only in Israel, Full On rules the scene but you can still get great parties with progressive music like on rosh hashana and if I am not mistaken on the other party that was on Yum Kippor you could listen to some progy tunes so when you guys are going to a party maybe you should check who is playing and not expect him to play what you like.
As far as I know Compact is a full on label although we have artists such as Lish.

We as DJs try to do the best when we play and as long as the dance floor is working and the people are flying and smiling that's ok with us, maybe you should try it once.

This is an underground scene who also tries to brake out of the underground but as someone who as been going to trance parties for 10 years now I know that things can go wrong, that's what I like about it, you never know what to expect.

          enjoy life

yo efrat,im shure that u r doing your best as a dj',and when the dance-floor is working its make agood feelling, but when u play commercial ,people gonna fly for shure, but u know there is some people that come 2 hear intresting music, not the regular pattern of commercial full-on ,u said your self its underground,so where is it?, and as a progg dj',i can tell u that if u play wicked set with killer mixing n' groovy music choice people will exept it and digg in,cause u r giving them your energy ha'...
think about it.
