Music, the trance dance experience and consciousness remain at the core of what we discuss out here and express in our lives ! The Psychedelic Trance has grown stronger and now beginning to make in roads to the mainstream and that's a good thing because it is reaching out to more people and this should be seen as a positive step forward in bringing the world together as one and dissolving the old paradigm of separation and general labeling ! This need for directives is what I feel has and will doom this whole undertaking. The underground is defined by everyone being proactive in their own unique way.
The Indian party crowd demands that an organiser organise everything from the music to the decor to the food and drinks, then on top of that create some sort of vibe, gather volunteers and then direct them to do a specific job, while the rest of the crowd demands THAT dreaded d demand.
sorry kids, that's not how the underground works. A full fledged commercial organisation with a paid crew and directives ...Sure!
The dynamics of the underground is that the organiser locks the down the venue, creates the music lineup, brings in the sound, maybe does the deco if they're pro about it, all in all keep the basics running smoothly.
the rest is upto the crowd.
what do you bring to a party ?
things I've seen people do at underground events around the world.
- cook food for people
- make juice / chai stalls
- create/bring their own deco
- organise yoga areas
- fire and flouro performances
- create altars
- bring fuel for the generator
- volunteer to organise and coordinate workshops
- CLEAN UP THE DANCEFLOOR!
- volunteer to work the door
- volunteer to set up and tear down
there are endless possibilities... but each one comes from the heart.
the only one I've seen happening out here are the performance acts... always nice to watch but sorry to say but half of the time it's the look at me ego at work.
** it's like after some have paid their "entry" fee its a free for all and you can do whatever the heck you like. "we've paid money to have fun haven't we?" ... baalagan time... yahoooooo ... chug that bottle, chuck it over your shoulder. killer... lets do another. yeaaaa killer underground vibe**
there will always be 2 major motives behind underground events.
1. Money/Ego/Drugs/Sex ==> Greed (given a chance it WILL find you!)
2. The Unknown ... that can only have meaning once a permanent community/family is born.
So yes... make the choice. India's lost most of its best underground promoters because the Unknown never came into its right light. The Unknown is that essence you're all babbling about... isra's nice to feel like you've found it but believe me this is far from it.
+1 for the real underground.
One step below that is the scene that thrives on ONLY music and art. You DO NOT need the outdoor for that. A good indoor party, even commercially organised, will suffice.
If you want to bond with nature go camping... live in the kind of wild where noone is there to clean up after you.
Understand the underground because it's a living entity and ours is a symbiotic relationship. and it needs YOUR help!

They are trying to push it underground but it looks like there are too many NOW and the age old paradigm of fear propaganda is being put into play, however it is good to know there is an awakening dawning on the masses ! Each one of us has a larger responsibility towards how we can bring together a splintered us as a MASSIVE ONE ! Let music do the talking and keep dancing ... together with fearlessness in our spirit and through awareness in our consciousness we will be FREE ! We dance for an awakening !

also i feel the problem is not only in this country as a lot of people tell me andsumtimes i also feel..
think its to do with the mind... the self-relishing mind which is everywhere... where always its I first and everything else comes later...
if a party is organized for others happiness it tends to move towards the UNDERGROUND vibe... if the intention is self happiness then there's no way the UNDERGROUND vibe can be achieved..
so i think that at the root level its about the motivation ..the intention... if that can be worked on then the underground revolution can be revived and full blown..
also i feel theres nothin to worry about.. think bout it.. if theres good intention like intention to make others happy and to see others dance in bliss... nothing negative gna come in the way of such a scene... because only the negative attracts more negative!!
all spiritual path followers say that the purpose of life is to work towards others happiness and well-being... so if make a party with such motive... i think the underground scene will be back with a bang..
and also its as easy as it sound
