you want an underground event ??? then here's a straight-up question ... how much would each of you be willing to contribute financially or hours-of-work DURING a party?
answers in Rupees or Hours. Lets hear it. Enough dropping those hippie turds... this thread is turning into the same old babble.

Good straight question... I would like to see how many of the ranters actually give an answer...
To answer it myself, both the time and money I will be willing to contribute would completely depend on how comfortable I feel with the group of people who are organizing. If I feel comfortable, I won't mind spending maybe around 5k (Sorry, but thats all I can afford) and work for around 4-8 hours to set up the party and maybe around a month (part time), for the rest of the work (talking to dj's, artists, arranging logistics etc.).
BTW, let me make it clear that I have no experience organizing a party, but I have helped in setting up a party. |

Thats more than most people would... I've been held up at doors during main acts arguing with people over paying a 10th of that amount ... talk about irony.

solid well with enough people you only need about 2 hrs of setup time (indoor events) and 1 hr for teardown. It's during the party that most people don't want to work ... thats why the comparison (monetary investment vs. time at party investment) ... to me thats kind of the same deal.

I don't think anyone does... and thats where the problems start... who is going to do it?
you want an organizer to throw an event, keep it cheap, keep it unified, keep it safe, work the door...
all for what ? to keep it underground ?
ever wonder why almost all organizers turn commercial after a couple of years ?
the underground thrives off the community and as far as that goes haven't seen people coming together to do anything on this forum. just demands, complaints or wise ideas that remain ideas.
so yeah... in this case the question has to be asked. if it doesn't come from the heart and you still want it then it has to be systematic....
how much is the undergound vibe worth to you ?

i think nothing happens over this forum because in general opinion users feel it's unsafe to post underground party info up here..
also... i know it's easier said than done..but i would put in as much financial resource as i can afford to make the Underground party.. and also ALL my time during the party if it is needed... i dont enjoy doin the monkey-dance nwdays neway hehe
but help has to be asked for... i mean im not gna jus go up to the orgz and offer all this help.. if i am asked by the orgz for my help.. with good intention and vibe of cos.. then im definately ALL INN !!!!
but nobody likes to ask for help also...thats just human..i wudnt wana ask a fellow for help i wud tell myself that id rather do it all by myself..

the underground vibe is worth everything to me..
that feeling of bliss .. the feeling of oneness can only be experienced in the underground trance-dance scene..not in the commercial party scene..and this feeling of oneness is absolutely necessary! otherwise the entire meaning of living is lost !!
and this scene needs to be revived!!!!!
i mean.... every1 NEEDS to experience these feelings... coz these are the feelings that we are MEANT to feel... it's what we are meant to be... meant to be one with everyone and everything else..meant to be happy beings.. and this can only BE when everyone gets together and does the trance dance leaving everything else behind !
the underground trance party scene thus needs to be revived so that everyone can do the trance-dance.. let loose all the dirt that the sytem stuffs into our heads..dance it all out... and be free again... feel the bliss and oneness..
it needs to be revived not only for the sake of good muzik..but also for the good of mankind...my fellows... so that unity can be revived... and people can afford to live peacefully when livin in and with the 'system' as all unwanted energy is let out in the trance-dance..leavin nothin but emtpiness and peace inside!
lets work on bringing the underground vibe back
jus speakin out my thoughts here...hope everyone understands..
