It's really old discussion but i thought to start it over because i can't stand anymore this shit that runs on MTV and radio stations.
I personally don't see reasons why acts like "Shpongle" cannot be played on MTV or Radio stations. I Remember seeing stuff like "Future Sound Of London {RIP}- My Kingdom on MTV and nothing happened, or stuff like Juno Reactor - God is god. So if they could play that why won't Mr. Twisted Simon make a descent video for Dorset Perception and get a worldwide acclaim. I think he deserves it...
Or maybe Deedrah - Reload?
I mean what's the fucking problemm.
Underground it's nice but it's really annoys me to go to dotmusic.com click shpongleposford in the search bar and get nada.
They have there such a bad garage2 stepclub house stuff, why the hell couldn't they put there something innovative????
It makes me sick really.

i dont think they can make videos for a trance track.
i mean footage of a party would be nice, but thats about it - it would become very stale very soon, to keep watching videos of acts/dj's in parties. |

i dont know if trance videoclips are such a good idea. i once saw on mtv few years ago a videoclip
of astral projection- people can fly.
it was boring and the style of showing 3-dimensional
animation was predictable and in bad taste.
that videoclip add nothing to the name of ap.

what are you talking about? astral's "dancing galaxy" video is really good! "people can fly" is just very old, with the technologies we got today they can create piece of video... :)

I don´t think the trance/goa scene should be comercialised, thats whats it´s all about with the trance world, it´s NOT comersialised, they are not in it for the money just for us trance and party people, ya know what I mean? if it would get comersialised then the high heads of MTV would deside what they should make and not then it´s just gonna be shit music like techno.
And one other thing that is bugging me alot is the new cd´s that are out with techno beats on it, that they CALL like trance millenium out now in your stores near U. Pisses me off that they call techno beats trance now.....grrrrrrrrr
long live none comersialised trance!!

Few years ago I've founf Etnica videoclip on MTV Europe site - not so bad. Two clips from Astral you are talking about probably were made by amateurs. |

There are a lot of trance videos
Eat Static, Man with no name, Transwave-Land of freedom ids the greatest of all. I saw it on MTV 4 years ago.
:)MTV should make an electronic music channel:)

there should be a site with these video files for download.
at the very least, why not make a list of what songs have videos for those that wish to search for them?
