Because the elitist underground people, who think that everything else is commercial (in a negative way), think that everything with cheese, fluff, or related words in it, is commercial.

(lol not sure if that sentence is correct by grammer )

????? wtf ?????
in my holy opinion, commercial is just a word for ppl that dont know any other negative words to describe a track.           Anakoluth A Pebble in Your Eardrum's Shoe since 2001!

All this words about commercial yada yada makes me sick. Honestly.
I don't like latest Yahel's work also, but he has the right to do something else as much as i have the right to ignore everything he releases.
BTW Melodies in Trance rule!

i love my trance as cheesy/fluffy/gay/housy as it can gets.... and still im not ashame of it at all, on the otherside, i can notice it can easy get boring if you overplaying it, so i combine this with some underground elitism as one describe it here, and it all goes fine, trust my word.

i just been listening yesterday to global underground 009 old piece, first double cd of dj sasha on that commercial sagga, and was happy to find there derderitte raum from 99 this was sounded quite pioneer then, later i found that its one of sonkites main influences.. (y) cant find any wrong about it, after all if i wouldnt been atracted to the first, i might be less interest in the other.
i can imagine lot of people aint came from goa with their bags full of minidiscs/dat cases as some of my friends, but been doing clubbing or raving here and there around the globe without staying to spend the day after on the beach, its been major part of the people who still like what you call cheese or commercial music, maybe.

and about yahel music, i dont think there is any point you guys came out for or against his art here, but the fact that you and him not going in the same music direction no more, its ok, sometime you fed up with somthing and you keep going further to other stuff, that what i usually like in music, that my style and taste keep changing, even if the direction is kind of drawn allready, i can easily draw a line between all the genres i like.

and another thing about commercial music: in most cases it will sounds twelve times better production wise... not cause the money, its more cause it is treated to please more ears.

yahel - butterfly is a killer vinyl, by the way.
