My friend will be in San Fran between the 18th and 23rd of Oct', he would really love to find cool people to stay with while seeing your great town! he is willing to pay if needed...

If no one responds through here you could always sign up for couchsurfing.org. It was founded near san francisco so you will find many couches in the area. |

I know some crazy weirdos out that way, Ill pass the word along, if nothing else they'll surely provide friendly companionship and the world-renowned California hospitality.  Im sure someone knows someone willing to let someone crash at their place.
