Hi all,
Looks like I'll be visiting Greece for my first time from 9/03 till 19/03. I think I'll at least be coming to Thessolniki, but I will try to visit some other cities too... I'm definitely going to try to go visit Delphi, but I'm wondering what else is cool to do in Greece?

If i was you i would visit Zagoria villages or Metsovo in Ioannena or Pylio ;) . Magical places to be that season.....
Also i think that if you want to see the real face of greece stay away from the big towns.

You definately should visit
Delphous, Acropoli, Pella ,Mikines (ancient places)
Arahova, Parnasso (food & ski)
Psirri area in Athens (clubbing & drinks)
Monastiraki, Ermou (shopping)
Village Mall (cafe, shopping, cinema)
and this forum foa a good psyevent! Enjoy. |

well said nurbs......if u want to see the real face of greece stay away from major cities...athens in particular...well maybe check out the acropolis, its worth it....villages on mainland and islands are(at least for me) the best for a short visit like yours....along with everything...food,prices,people,places,sea,air...
wish u good trip man....if u r planning to go to some psychedelic party, expect to pay 20 to 30 euro entrance, mostly in downtown clubs(talking about athens)and pretty packed with tight security,at times extremely unfriendly, at times really unbelievable(I went to a xenomorph show in athens, and when in the entrance the let me in for free because i was a tourist......well that was pretty unique....what im trying to say is that u will also find some of the most friendly people around...plus, i believe very few people know how to enjoy time like greeks.......)

dont forget to go to arahova(the tourist facility  for the visitors of delphi ans since ou'll be there dont forget to visit helicon mountain

i've already get lost couple of times in Athens so you really should not walk around without someone who know how to reach a place and came back ...
offtopic- someone could tell me where is It record shop in Athens (15 Massalias str) and how exactly i can reach it by using the transport??
