I'm in big need for some decent, and comfortable headphone.
For a while I had been using my Sennheiser HD 25 SP.
Worked alright untill I started to get headaches everytime.
As just the sound was too close to my ears.
Now I'm using this cheap thing, some sort of copy of a big brand, don't know which tough:
http://www.tonecontrol.nl/nl/producten/koptelefoons/prodjuser/prodjuser-spl-127-mkii/
Already feels much better, but this one squeezes my ahead too much, and after some hours I feel like ripping it of my head, that much it annoys me.
What would your suggestions be, considering I can't really go more than € 100-150? |

What you posted is a nice looking knock off of the Sennheiser HD 280s- which I own ( http://lanavedefibra.files.wordpress.com/2009/05/sennheiserhd280.jpg ).
I use Technics RPDH 1200s for DJing and have worn them while djing for several hours with no comfort problems (I usually find most other headphones uncomfortable after a short period of time). I still think these are the best djing headphones available. You can get them for like 100 usd, they'd durable as hell, the bit of bass boost makes beatmatching easier at shows and the sound is nice and clear. When I say you can beat them, I mean I know people that drop, step on and spill stuff on these and they still work fine. Also, the cord is detachable, so you can replace just the cord if it has an issue, rather than having to get new headphones. http://soundcloud.com/ascensionsound

But they cost 3x as much...
I don't think it's necessary to spend over $150 usd for djing headphones. Most of the time you can't hear clearly anyway. http://soundcloud.com/ascensionsound

if its available in your country go for sony mdr XB 300(extra base) ... its perfect for production ...as i am unfortunate to get that in india.. I asked my cousins to get it from Uk.

the frequency responce is same to that of costly denon and sennheiser .. so the choice is yours. 0x00000PSy |
