Hi my name is Pavel Malina and I am DJ from Czech Republic, living in Breckenridge, Colorado. I want to organize Psy Party in the mountains. I would like to get in touch with other Dj's from Colorado or other people to help pull it together. Thanks, Pavel |

I am moving from Tampa to Denver this summer , then Aspen for the winter . Another DJ friend of mine ManicSortOfBliss is also moving to Colorado this summer . We are both Psytrance DJ's . Any info on the Colorado Psytrance scene , or Techno scene in general would be sweet . I hear A.U.M. festival might be in Colorado ???

I believe that there is a psy crew out in colorado called Metamine. Dj Solomoon and Dj Psylense are the two that I've heard of in this crew. Let us know if you get in contact. |

Hey there
I live in Colorado - there's been a pretty active, though not very commercial - psytrance scene here for maybe the last 7 years or so. We (OneTribe, which includes many collectives like Metameme, Mindflux, Psygnosis and others) have been doing monthly events in Denver for about 2 years - and now there's also an afterhours monthly organized by another crew called Wacky Shack. In the summer we throw events in the mountains - usually there's something happening every weekend.
We don't post a lot of events on forums, but if you hit me up, I'll give you the lowdown on what's going on. You can also check BuddhaBomb's website - he usually posts all our events on it.
There's a party coming up on Saturday with Kenji Williams, though it'll be more of a Chillout event -

there's also a party on march 24th someone else is throwing - it'll more like a small rave I think - with Dylalien from Fractal Cowboys, Mukti, and me playing psytrance, Mikey Fisher with breaks, and a bunch of house DJs.. Flyer here:

I guess there are quite a few trancers moving to Colorado these days..

also you could check http://www.buddhabomb.net for events in Boulder, I know there's a psy-jam party on 4/20 in Boulder with BB, Gypsy, Solomoon, and others.
we've been doing varied events lately, from hippie psy-jams (patchouli!!), private very intense psytrance parties, to larger downtempo and performance-arts oriented events. Upcoming is the Colorado regional Burningman event, Apogaea http://www.apogaea.com - I am working on organizing a chillout lounge, but there will also be psytrance there for sure.
Also upcoming is the 7/7/7 mostly psy party somewhere in the mountains and a couple of other events...
As far as organized entertainment, at the moment there's a monthly afterhours psy night in a Denver club, this is done by Wacky Shack.
