It's usually pretty nice. For some reason it's usually better in the Northern suburbs than in the downtown or in the Southern suburbs. I guess they get more fresh air from the lake (St. Clair if I remember right).
And the airport is right between Detroit and Ann Arbor and next to I-275 (in case you want to go North or South). So, your venue can be pretty much anywhere in South-East Michigan.
It’s too bad I left before Derrick May started that electronic music festival.
I am pretty sure the Goth crowd(s) from “Robocop” and “The Crow” days will gladly embrace psy trance. Should be interesting...

Is there really such a cultural difference between Ashville and Midwest scenes or is he just messing with everybody?
Well, I'll visit Ann Arbor shortly and give you a weather report. I think Detroit would be a great choice.
