Hello fellow trance fans. I come bearing a question, but not about music production techniques or what equipment to buy.
See, for sometime I have been in search of a lasting, mutual partnership with someone in regards to digital music production. Not just anyone though. I am looking for someone like me who mainly uses fruity loops, is around at least a fair deal of the time, and is somewhere generally around my level of skill. It would be fairly hard to put where I stand in musical ability to words but as a general idea I have been making music for about 4 years or so, and within the last several months have been coming to learn working with things like compression and EQ better. I like the sound of trance and most other techno ( forgive the generalization but you know what I mean ), as well as some industrial, and more of a downtempo/aphex twin style. I think it would be great to find someone to work together with on these styles of music by bouncing ideas off one another and learning from each other. I do not seek to make money, but just to explore music.
My question is, would anyone be interested in teaming up with me to try and make a two-man band? and if so please let me know by posting in this thread. |

Hmm, yeah i'm canadaian "eh?". Distance is kind of an issue but given the small size of flps it makes it easy to pass the shit back and forth. |

Hmm that would be cool. Though really two people just need to have matching synths and samples. I find that zipped loop packages are most times even bigger then the actual flp. Im on dial up for the next while so.... the smallest file possible is what i need..... As for collab it would be cool.....Except...well I cant really use it for reasons i beleive i am not allowed to mention on these forums....... |

zipped loop contain the flp and the samples. so its pritty ok not to have the same samples if u do no need to u right.
