						Hi...

I´m a big fan of the Cocoon Comp. ( they´ve always made an effort to be several steps ahead of the rest, when it comes to forward thinking "minimalelectrotech" sort of sound ), although i must say that their last comp was a bit of a flaw ( at least to me...almost all the trax there seemed a little soulless ).

The track list on this one is as always very promising, but i´m somewhat curious to ear the mixes...because ( and i know it´s not really the same ) but a couple of months ago the cover CD on the MIXMAG was mixed by Sven...and all the mixes sounded really sloppy, so i hope this one will be better.

I´m going to check them at Cocoon homepage. |

						Hi, mate...

Sorry to disagree with you, but i seriously doubt that he would let someone else mix a cd and use his name, just for a matter of money...when he can make "that" money just by licensing his own Cocoon trax to this mix CD...

I mean, Mixmag is not your local magazine about clubbing... it´s sold worldwide and they sell truckloads of it...so it´s kind of a good promotion vehicle to have them ask you to guest mix the cover CD...

Anyway, he´s a frequent guest @ N-Joy radio and his mixes usually deliver much more than this last one...but i´m keeping an open mind about it and i´m waiting for the release.

Besides the big hits, there are many brand new listening pearls, as well as two treasures from the Cocoon Recordings chest - "Hummel" by Adam Kroll and "Bionik" by Dominik Eulberg. The album is split into a 'Night' CD and a 'Day' CD, all mixing is by Sven Väth. Let the music speak for itself, watch the best pictures of the summer under the provided link, open a bottle of Rioja, enjoy some bread and Aioli and watch out for the next summer.
