You would require really special breaks to go from 4/4 to 3/4 really, so just jumping back and forth from triplets actually is quite hard, if ur gonna make it sound good.
Even Vibe Tribe didnt manage to pull that off properly in "Mellodrama" But thats a fricken great track anyway.
But yes indeed triplets are amazing
