Well, until now I didn't have enough money not even to dream about a Clavia Nord Lead 3. Damn the dude who told me about University.

But NOW there's a great chance to buy one of these Swedish monsters which sound so good and look so sexy that my girlfriend looks ungly when I look at the Clavia (although she's a A+ )

My question to you is, is it worth buying a NL3 now or is Clavia working on the Nord Lead 4? NL3 was much more than just a revision of the NL2 so I guess it could be worth waiting.

Thanks in adv you gearbitches

P.S. : I don't give a damn about Hardware VS Software so don't even think about it.

regards

I have heard people say that the NL3 sounds quite different to the NL2. Some prefer the sound of the NL2. (I have never played with a NL3 so I don't know).

So check it out first and make sure it is the right one for you.

I got a nord II rack and am happy with it. A friend of mine that makes music and has been released has a nordlead III and says it takes much longer to get killer sounds out of it, he has to twist knobs much longer to find the sounds he wants compared to the nord II. Also a nordII rack is not expensive 2nd hand, i got one on ebay in perfect condition with wanrentee on it for another year for 475 Euro or about 500 USD.

The Nordlead 3 sounds quite different from the NL2. Personally I dont think that the NL3 is worth the money. Don't get me wrong. It's a great synth, but you pay alot for those expensive knobs, and they arent really much of an improvement - they just look cool. Id say get the NL2x.

That´s why Clavia released NL2X, and is planning to release NL4

I like having a NL2, for e-pianos.
