Know I remember when there werent that many or any at all. But I think some of you tend to get all technical with how you calssify the music.
My question is what calssifications have you made up and which actually are a true representation of the sounds you calssify.
and could you also explain the difference and the need to calssify something twice i.e twisted dark, dark psy? psychedelic morning , full-on morning?
SECOND QUESTION for the Artists who make the music.
Do you agree with the calssifications that people slap on your sound? Do you care?
My personal take on it is there are sounds for at night and sounds for the day. Because the day can be so tricky you can go deep or funky. But I try to leave it at that. so I have 3 myself. Night/Dawn/Day. period. pretty simple for me. anyone care to share there thoughts on what they call the music. and why?

Taxonomy:
Domain, Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, and Species.
Maybe something like:
Domain (?), Music, Electronic, Psychedelic, Progressive, Artist, Album, Track.
how bad is that? hehehe

Domain: Musica (others would be video, 2d art, sculpture)
Kingdom: Psychedelia
Phylum: Electronica
Class: Trancia
Order: Speed of the Music
Family: Composition style (fullon, progressive, techy, minimal etc)
Genus: Time of day it is intended for (Twilight, Night, Morning, Daytime)
Species: Sound texture quality (smooth, rough, wet, dry, mechanical)
Notice that I put psychedelic as the second highest level of division.
