Back in high school I discovered a music called Goa Trance.
By the time I had graduated from school in 1997, I was hooked.
I spent many many hours of many many days in my bedroom listening to, Djing, and tripping out to the psychedelic sounds. My mother was very forgiving of me.
One day –many years later– while living in Seattle, I decided to make a mix of that era. I had a few rules:
• Tracks had to go chronological (at least by release years, figuring out months is far too tricky)
• I could only use each artist once
• I could only use each label once
• There were a few tracks that had to be put into the mix
This made it all a massive puzzle of crazy proportions.
It's been a while since this mix was available to the public, but there has been a lot of activity recently of the "Retro Vibe" so I have brought it back for a second life.
