Normally I play tech/progressive house and progressive trance, but this time I wanted to try someting new and different. This is my very first breakbeat set, and I think it's a very interesting style

I like music with melodies and it reflects in this set

Style: Breakbeat
Length: 56:40 (81,4Mb)
Tempo: 129-131BPM
Tracks: 11
Gear: DJM600 + CDJ100

Tracklist:
1. Lusine - Flat (Lusine remix)
2. Retroid - Snowdrop
3. Luke Chable & Smight - Dark angel
4. ILS - Storm from the east
5. Ignosis - Ghospell
6. DJ Icey - Nikita

The last mix is a little bit laggy, because I hit the pitch slider by a mistake. I'm too lazy to make a new record

Interesting . I must say breakbeat is not that much my cup of tea, mostly because I don't listen that much to that kind of music. I'm currently listenning to your set and I enjoy it.

I'm a "bedroom DJ" and I usually think my sets are a bit boring (I mix mostly techno, prog trance). I should insert breakbeat tracks in my techno mixes, in order to ... well, insert breaks. I'm pretty sure it would be cool to do a not 100% breakbeat set, but a techno/breakbeat set.

Back on topic. Great set Clark_K

And again... Thanks, it's allways nice to get feedback. No matter it's either positive or negative

I must admit I didn't anticipate any replies at all, because breakbeat isn't the most popular genre and maybe even quite unknown especially on isratrance (my theory)

Fine collection of tracks, though maybe one or two got either to cheesy or stressfull for me, 2 sides of the same coin Mixing was ok, lost some energy here and there, but not much.

Id definately enjoy this in a café / chilled environment, drinking beer and chating.

Looking forward to more breaks from your end, given this was your first experiment with them then next should be even better.

6/10
