Are you asking why people mainly circuit bend battery operated things?
If that is what you meant, my guess is that perhaps lower power devices have a similar current running through most of the circuit and different parts of it are more easily spliced together.
Things with big capacitors in probably wouldn't like being joined between high and low areas of power. |

PsyGalaxy, what I mean is that it's a safety issue. You're not likely to get a big shock off of accidentally touching the circuit board of something that uses a 9 volt battery, but something that is PLUGGED IN to the electrical outlet could easily kill you, if you're not careful or don't know what you're doing.
