Hi engineers, circuit bending has been a recent fad of mine, and this artwork made my sound studio look like an electronic workshop. And me an electronic engineer, which I am definitely not. I had tranformed(destroyed) few keyboards and the kind of distortion they create now is unrealistic. Well as I already said, I started out with this thing recently and I'm almost a novice in bending circuits. If anyone else is bending their neck along with circuits then please share some tips, links, books or any info on the subject.

One link that intrigued me a lot is this, http://gieskes.nl/instruments/?file=acid-machine --- see the videos(first video is amazing)

Really wish if could do such a neat job.

Best guide for circuit bending that I've found is this:

http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Circuit-Bending/Reed-Ghazala/e/9780764588877/?itm=1&usri=circuit+bending

followed closely by this:

http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Handmade-Electronic-Music/Nicolas-Collins/e/9780415998734/?itm=1&usri=handmade+electronic+music+the+art+of+hardware+hacking

The Yamaha PSS-460, an old piece of crap toy synth is the best thing I've found to bend so far. That thing can make the craziest alien radio/computer bleep madness/shards of digital feedback noiz I've ever heard.

Ferby's are supposed to be good for circuit bending. Take a look on youtube, they make some wicked noises. Been thinking about giving this a crack myself.
