1. one posts an original topic with a certain debatable issue.
2. first few answers are ontopic. 
3. someone makes an offtopic joke. 
4. the offtopic joke gets expanded on to the next page. 
5. someone doesnt get the joke or is offended by the joke... 
6. original poster is upset that nobody is keeping ontopic. 
7. 3 or more pages in.. someone sensible brings the topic back on track. 
8. people dont read the whole thing because its "too long" for them.  
9. responses are completely something else now, involving personal stories. 
10. someone brings back the joke and comments on it. 
the cycle repeats as neccesary... 
conclusion - no point to post anything. 
ultimate conclusion - lets shut down isratrance

true but is that experience (cycle) that makes everything worth it in the first place. we all like being the 'clever', 'inspiring', 'funny', 'assholes', 'boring' etc... ones. troughout our isratrance life cycle.
shut down isratrance? nooo what am i supposed to do when im bored at home or work? read news? no way i rather read all this pointless crap we all right

You forgot to mention that threads always end up in 8th or 9th page after somebody channeled it into mp3, drugs or politics discussion. Usually it's channeled by the same users which names i won't mention right now because i afraid that this thread will take the same direction.
Thank god we don't discuss minimal vs progressive vs full on anymore...
Ok and i take the blame for some of the offtopic jokes

I am sure Surrender was influenced by drugs when he wrote this. Psychedelic drugs that opened his view to the ultimate conclusion.

thats the main reason i refrain from opening threads which have already passed on 3 pages or more...coz by then it already has become a personal battle...and totally different from what the topic says...
