After Chris Schweizer’s overwhelming tracks from early 2011, he has prepared a follow up Ep with his very characteristic sound and some fresh elements thrown in that will take you onboard a very hypnotic journey.
A dry kick drum begins the dance with a discrete percussion in Chris’ latest piece called “Error 404,” while some galactic pads and sweeps announce that the borders in music styles are starting to disappear. A single bass note levitates over minor chord synths, which is the whole concept of the track.
The main melody starts to blow a cold breeze of its flavor with a mono synth pattern and a short decay on the signal envelope. There’s no need to listen twice; the melody sticks in your brains and gives the sensation of a real groovy, peak-time DJ style, definitely an exciting piece of modern trance that will get you zombienized.
Behind a great track there’s always a great remixer, and in this case the remixer on duty is one of Chris’ closest friends, Tomas Heredia.
With a little help of classic uplifting fragments and epic melodies on the pads and pianos, Tomas creates an energetic pulse in our bodies. Given the good relationship of the bass line with the main melody nature, we can say that no soul could stay still during this eight-minute-track. After the success of his latest remixes in 2011, Tomas has proven to be a fantastic and professional remixer.
Detune not only make trance tunes, but each one of his remixes has a combination of trance/electro/techno elements that only this Argentinean master can mix. Blowing the spectrum with some nasty kick drum grooves, each one more complex than the other, some filters make the original track melody a wonderful group of note capable to reach high levels of music toxicity in any party.
The oath of this Ep going to the biggest track lists in the scene will be a quick reality.
