Biography
Chris Cargo has been at the forefront of electronic music in Ireland for nearly 15 years, a pioneer of his era on the emerald isle!
All styles of House Music find there way into Chris's sets – a true professional who can adapt to any environment.
Described as 'perfect sex machine body music' by DJ Magazine and simply 'inspired' by M8 magazine. Chris manages to complement various styles into his djing sets, a journey if you like!
Chris’s career has spawned countless gigs in his native Ireland including regular appearances over the years at legendary clubs like Sir Henry’s in Cork, The Kitchen in Dublin and at the mighty Lush in Portrush! Added to these residencies at various Belfast clubs such as The Venue, The Network, Thompson’s and more recently Yello and Mono.

As well known throughout the globe as he is in his home town, one look at his list of gigs merely confirms this.
From wowing the crowds at SOS in Hang Zhou to Q-Club-Zurich, Earth-Amsterdam, Progress in Paris and Germany’s legendary Tribehouse club... Chris has travelled the world over docking in over 60 countries along the way including Siberia, Portugal, Kazakhstan, Finland, France, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Malaysia, China, Mexico in fact it would be easier to say were he hasn't been.
Regular tours for the likes of Renaissance, Smirnoff, Tennents, Kent Tobacco, China Loop and Renaissance have seen Chris ply his wares on several large scale tours around China, USA, Russia and South America.
It’s Chris's thought of not sticking to one genre has proved dividend. As he explains "I couldn't stick to one genre" Chris says "it would just be boring plus a lot of djs get stuck playing the same sound over and over and before you know it you've been left behind so its important to take risks with your music"
Chris's productions and remixes perfectly compliment his Djing style with over 50 to his name.

Cargo has remixed, collaborated and worked alongside some of the industries heavyweights including
D.Ramirez, Tom Novy, Ricky Stone, Inkfish, Barry Gilbey, Rozalla.
Further confirming Chris's mass appeal numerous compilation appearances for the likes of Renaissance, Intec, Seb Fontaine,Danny Howells, Valentino Kanzyani, Anthony Pappa, Slinky,Privledge-Ibiza, Global Underground and many more have further confirmed Chris's wide appeal and quality output making it easy to see why Chris is as well known in Eastern Europe as he is in his native Belfast.
Bringing you right up to date and 2009 looks set to be the best yet as Chris release’s his debut album entitled “louder Than A Bomb”.
Dipping through ten years production experience chris dips into his many guises to paint a very wide spectrum of aural sounscapes, full of diverse sounds and styles from progressive to more minimal dancefloor monsters there all here and already are ccausing damage across global dancefloors.
