chorus + flanger bass test what do you think?

I've been experimenting with diferent types of bass and I came up with this wide stereo (almost ping pong effect) bass with a small amount of flanger. How does it feel in the mix?

Its sounds good. but beware of stereo base. it wont sound good when played live or very high..

^ to avoid that problem, since its going to be in the sub and bass range. Cut below X on you're flanged version and compress it together with your unflanged version cut above X.

X depends on the key you choose, you probly want the first few harmonics of you're bass, so cuting at around X=125-225Hz.           www.soundcloud.com/memetech

Nice one thanks ^^ I just tried that I centered the sub freqs and left the high freqs move around the mix, pretty cool.           Free album out now:

I like it...widening bass is a big challenge I think..you need to be carefully...phase problems mainly...but that one sounds good here...
