choosing between monitors

yo
i have to buy extra cheap and small temporrary monitors to use in my college dorm , so i found three i know they all suck but which one is the best from them
m audio dx 4

i think i would go M-Audio BX4, i think they will sound better than the samsons. I never heard the edirols |

but first hear both of them(dont thimk about edirol)
i have read that samsung monitors are good only in their passive edition |

i have samson monitors and m-audio monitors
samson sounds better in my ears
the 4 inch m-audios are not good at all very plastic sound!
samsons sounded much more lively than any other monitor in this range exept the yamahas
i would love to see the samsung monitors though!!
dont bie if you dont listen first its your ears that will work on them!!

i have the m audio bx8's and they sounds better than the samson's that i tested in the store, but i forgot which model samsons it was. The Bx4's however do have much smaller woofers, so i dont know, it is really important to test them before you buy, it took me ages to get used to my bx8's but now i am able to mix quite okay with them, i would still like to score some yamaha ns10's though. |

the samson's and the dx 4s dont have digital ins how much diffrence in quality is there between spdif and rca

I recomaned on yamaha msp5 to.
its perfect for your college dorm and it sounds the best!!!
all the three "monitors" that you chose are unstaible(not flat sound)you shuld read about those monitor,
use the search

I always wonder, how can listening to the monitors help choose them in any way?
Obviously a man who buys monitors at this level has no idea what is "good" or "bad" sound.

best thing to do is to take your favourate cd to the shop and listen to all the monitors. choose the one which sound you liked most. taste differs. |
