Hello everyone

I want to buy active studio monitors but don't know which size should I choose .

I don't have any acoustic treatment and my desk is on the longer wall (4m)

I think that small 5'' monitors will be great but on the other side I live now with my parents and probably will move to new apartment in next 2 years .

I also would like hear recommendation for any specific monitors that you tried .

good small monitors for now.. compliment them later with a matched sub.

i have the old model tannoy reveal, passive.

for a small room nearfiled work mid-budget they are great.

some people despise them, i have grown to like them a lot.

if u have a chance to listen to them try Yamaha MSP5, Adam A5 and Dynaudio BM5a.

dynaudio bm5a are big for his room (6.9" woofer)

adam a5 or focal cms5 are the choices here.

later in a bigger room a matched sub will fill the missing low freq.
