This is the recording of my set. It's some seriously upbeat morning psytrance/full-on mixed with lots of fun stuff. Definitely not for the uber serious purist types, but it definitely got great reviews from everyone who was there. I'm quite proud of it.

Naw, is pretty fucking cheap if you can manage to take a high capacity vehicle and fill it full of people and gear... is only expensive if theres only a few people in the car...

I <3 flying. aside from having a hard time fitting stuff in my luggage for camping... it was amazing. just hop on the plane and woooop. home in a jiffy. no horrible forcing of the self to stay awake for a 19 hour drive.

WOWOWOW, Thank you Chilluminati! So much amazingness in one weekend. Amazing music, amazing deco, amazing conversations, the total package! The deco on both stages was excellent and both stages were somehow even more beautiful than last year! The musical line ups were perfect in my opinion, and the flow was superb. My favorite music sets of the weekend was definitely the headlining performers, and I could not stop feeling so very lucky for being able to hear the music they travelled to share with us. Mist laid down some hard and powerful tunes, and although I am not usually fan of psy-rock, that Lamb Of God remix track totally left me speechless. BlueSpectralMonkey played some killer tracks to keep the progression going, and I loved seeing his energy behind the decks. Bouncing up and down as the bass pounded the audience, the portions of his set I caught were delightfully intense. LeoHawk turned things towards the dark side, but the tribal feeling of the bass lines of the tracks he chose was comforting and inspiring as the dance floor really started getting out of control. I only caught the very beginning of Axis Mundi's set but the first 10 minutes were very psychedelic and dark. I loved all the gear he was using, and it made for a very intriguing performance and some very powerful tunes. Wish I could have listened to more, but I had to retreat to my tent to prepare for my chill set. I played my chill set at 4:30 so I unfortunately missed the Ooze this time, and after my set I took it easy and passed out early in time to get up for my workshop.
Despite the rain, the workshops appeared to be going great, and my spirituality discussion was rather fun and ended up being quite meaningful. Thanks to Kevin for showing Leo how to use DJ headphones as a back up microphone, because this served as our microphone for people to use during our discussion. It really made it easy to communicate to the group.
The second night always seems to be the better night of the two, but after the first night of SEOA2010 it was hard to imagine that Saturday night would somehow beat it. The relentless Saturday rain made it seem even more doubtful, but as usual, there was that feeling in the air that it was going to be an amazing night regardless. I started off my second night at the chill stage to catch Kevin, Leo, and some of Ando sets. I am really glad I did, because there was some killer music on the second stage to get the second night flowing. All of these guys did a great job, and I was especially impressed by Kevin and Leo's 3rd Mind Project. I originally thought they were simply playing tracks they made live, but after learning more from Leo, I realized that Kevin and Leo were splicing and mixing various short clips from their large self-generated sound banks. That is as LIVE as it gets to me, because it is totally on the fly, so I really enjoyed the 2 hours of their 3 hour set that I heard. Ando brought some edgy techno beats that really set a mysterious yet energetic vibe, and the dance floor really started dancing thanks to the vibes that Kevin, Leo, and Ando created. This was the point where I headed to the main stage to catch the tail end of SouthWild's set, which was very powerful. Wichdokta's performance was a wild ride as usual. I love seeing the passion that pours out of this man as he plays. People were FREAKING OUT during his set. Shawnodese was also great, and the dark, crispy sounds of his set really sent things into a darker dimension for the evening. Very powerful tracks and very active behind the decks, it was very fun getting more serious for the evening with Shawnodese as our guide. I loved his orange psychedelic coat! And wow, Progress, after hearing him play some beautiful melodic progressive minimal stuff on the second stage, I had no idea what to expect from him on the Psy stage during the darker portion of the evening. This man has such a unique and powerful style of Psytrance, it was an unforgettable set for me. I especially loved the track that used a 56k modem / fax modem distortion noise looping over and over, and eventually a beautiful melody began to emerge from the distorted static just as the bass intensified. Beautiful music all evening so far, and things just kept getting better and better. RASTALIENS played next and holllllyyyy shittt. I cannot believe how powerfully melodic, overwhelmingly beautiful, and unbelievably intense this man¡¦s set was. Even though Braincell unfortunately could not make it due to his illness, SouthWild did a great job of laying it down Rastaliens style. Amazing music all weekend long. Things kept on going with Annunaki, and the beautiful goa-like melodies really kept the morning energy high. Kri kept it going after Annunaki with some excellent DJ work, and it was an amazing way to close the event to have Machi make a guest appearance to lay a tag set with Lesz (DJ Klimax).
Amazing music, art, and people, allll weeeeekend loooong. I got my fill, and am still recovering!
Thank you so so so much Chilluminati for everything that you have done for me and other people here in the Midwest. This region of the USA is so much better with events like this happening each year, and it truly means a lot to me to know that I live in such a special place with such special people. I am a more motivated, more satisfied, and more generous person thanks to the events you have done, are doing, and will continue doing for some time, so thanks for helping to make the Midwest such a great place to live.
How do I express my phenomenal Sacred Earth weekend to you? I guess I should start by giving a big THANKS to everyone who made this unforgettable event possible! Thanks to those who set aside time to help set up/take down deco., Thanks to the astonishing artists who shared their wonderful music, Thanks to all of the wonderful people who came to celebrate the special occasion, Thanks to those that shared their own personal art deco. Also, thanks to everyone for being so amazing, positive, and friendly. We need more people like you in this Lifetime! ~ XoXo ~ <3 Always, Jbyga
P.S. I did NOT want the weekend to end!! I stayed at the NCN campground until 6p.m. Making sure to say farewell to as many friends as possible and I also, have tons and tons of pictures to share with you! You can check them out at: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=176368&id=759317771&l=14da0d69d7
P.P.S. I am counting down the days until next year, which will be my 4th Sacred Earth!! WoOoOooT!

Areas in the western part of the state (like ames) have lots and lots of flooding (the iowa state university stadium is under water). Good thing I live on eastern border http://soundcloud.com/ascensionsound www.chilluminati.org - Midwest based psytrance group
