The Chillumafia compilation is in progress!
The concept is derived from outdoor chill stages where the floor starts to warp and shift as the night progresses and as listeners navigate their minds on sounds of dub, breaks and a fat dollop of dubstep. Bass heavy is the norm with acid lines and twisted effects to create the heavy psychedelic experience... for chill purposes of the retired dance-floor mafia
Project timeline:
June (demos and selection)
July (final track list, mastering, artwork), Aug (released by 14 Aug as high quality wav & flac on free digital music sites)
Estimated tracks: 9-10 with multiple moods:
Track 1: Opening ambient track with a feel of something big approaching. Sudden drop at end.
Track 2: Glitchy, minimal breaks, experimental pads with mysterious moods
Track 3: Dub, funky bass and interwoven glitch
Track 4: Sinister dubby sound with heavy bass
Track 5: Bass heavy slow breakbeat
Track 6: Dubstep/Breaks hybrid
Track 7: Bass heavy dubstep track
Track 8: Breaks/DnB/Dubstep with energetic peaks and long outro
Track 9/10: Darker Ambient moods possibly going into minimal 4/4 drive and long outro

i like the way you have planned the moods out. will be interesting to compare this with the finished product.
