Hi there,

Many of the chillout tracks have a psychedelic touch, yet in some artists and album, the psychedelic tone is more strong, and the sounds and melody is somewhat more "out there"... (Capsula or Shpongle, for example).

If you can think of such artists and albums, I would appreciate if you can drop me a few suggestions

Cheers!

I'm never exactly sure what other people mean by psychedelic, but if you like Shpongle I'd recommend,

Flooting Grooves - Upsyde Downe

Peaking Goddess Collective - Organika

and similar to Capsula,

Chilled C'quence - Dream Triggers

Depends what you think of as psychedelic?

For me ambient is more psychedelic than anything else, trippy & takes me away on journeys to distant worlds & alternative dimensions.

My favourite albums that I find most psychedelic or trippy are

Solar Fields - Extended
http://abasioforum.myfreeforum.org/about22.html

Rena Jones - Driftwood
http://abasioforum.myfreeforum.org/about46.html

Secede - Tryshasla
http://abasioforum.myfreeforum.org/about19.html

Mystery Of The Yeti
http://abasioforum.myfreeforum.org/about47.html

Mystery Of The Yeti 2
http://abasioforum.myfreeforum.org/about48.html

The Infinity Project - Mystical Experiences
http://abasioforum.myfreeforum.org/about49.html

Robert Rich & B.Lustmord
http://abasioforum.myfreeforum.org/about4.html

all of these albums have really altered my mind while listening to them and that's what I think of as psychedelic           Wait.....What?

How many times do we have to go over this? The term "psychedelic" is very vague and subjective. "psychedelic tone"?

I don't see a ton of similarity between Capsula and Shpongle either. More details about what you're looking for please.           You believe in the users?
Yeah, sure. If I don't have a user, then who wrote me?

Well, it may be difficult to try and describe what exactly psychedelic is. As I wrote, most chillout music is psychedelic to some extent - i'd say that it is MORE psychedelic when the melody, sounds and composition is more "far-out", twisted, boundries-breaking, etc... sorry for not being more eloquent           When you lose touch with inner stillness, you lose touch with yourself.
