Digital Structure continue saga about chill moments and good moods. from last realeses of chill music that come from scandinavia we can learn that global direction of this style there is more dub alike music and psychedelic free ( that imo great becoze u want chill and not psy).
second compilation include 12 trax and its another modern sign. short and not boring trax is better.
some of artists we well know ..Ticon,Vibrasphere,3.Turn...
i have to say that studio work on their realese just perfect... so clear and full sound..
track list:
1.Omnimotion - Omnidub - soft and light dub trak with great echo games and female vocal sample.. pretty nice..
2.Dab Screen - Oversleep - !!!XXX!!! chill at the best side.. so harmonic melo lines and this monotone dub beat.
3.Pope Of Gegga - Velocity Punction - here something so minimalistic that its more empty place on cd than trak.. didnt get the point.. nevermind..
4.Legion Of Green Men - Ambriosa - straight to heart.. so nice and melodic.. more at lounge feeling.. my favorite here...
5.3.Turn - Miles - something experemental from this french guys.. break beats and very strange melodic line.. pretty nice and refreshing..
6.Ticon - On The Rocks - u can feel the commerzialism of Ticon music here also.. more housy and "nicy".. piano and groove... nice,nice,nice..
7.Stress Assassin - Roof Meet - after his album i surprized fund one more great new trak so fast.. his dub just great.. female vocal, bass and acoustic guetar and smooth echoes make this trak 100% great...
8.Fingertwister - Reluctant Believer - continue jurney to dub world.. nice..
9.Aztech - Exploding Pist - another quite trak.. i need smoke some more for connect to this one.. for tottal stone moments then u only can its lay back and .. hmmm. u know...
10.Karl-Axel Bissler - Changes - something very atmospheric here.. flow melodies and very quite beat.. and this acoustic sounds come from outside..
11.Patio - Sofa Bunk Bed - just trak that take the finish direction of compilation.. i mean the stone atmosphere is gone and we again at lounge/salon feeling..
12.Vibrasphere - The Big Sleep - after their san pedro i was sure they will present here something dub'y.. not.. pure urban/lounge/salon music.. simple and nice.. great finish..
ok guys... another review is over..
hope u will enjoy this cd.. great design and music..
make the chill moments favorite ones u have ;) |

the tracks as individuals are great. mixture of downtempo, dub, fwe touches of dnb, break beat and total chill that give you happiness. :)
but I didn't like the way it's compiled.. the first 3 tracks promise some kind of a journey but fast enough you realize it's all misleading. it just deosn't flow teh way you expect it to be and it's a shame. I liked much better the previous Chillosophy.

and Tzahi,im with u on compilation work.. number three just sounds free space on album becoze a super atmospheric sound that come after more full sound.. |
