Here are some pure not so psy, but still in my opinion great tracks..

Talvin Singh - Traveller (Kid Loco's Once Upon A Time In The East Mix)
..guess where I got my nick from

Massive Attack - Dissolved Girl
..in "The Matrix".. in the very beginning.. before white rabbit.. when Neo is at the computer.. this is the track that is playing.. that's when I sort of realized that I love electronic music..

The Prodigy - Breathe
..another of those songs that simply made me fall in love with electronic music.. this one is pure jewel.. genious
master piece!!

The Prodigy - Out Of Space (Millenium Mix)
..Once Again! OH man!

feel free to add this kind of tracks/albums here...

the new album from Massive Attack "100th window" , nice as usual.
And an old one from 2000, Klangstrahler Project "Im Rausch der Sinne" - pure magic.

enjoy!

p.s. doesnt have anything to do with prodogy but when you're just tired of heavy stuff its perfect !

Well a large part of this tune is lifted from Lee Scratch Perry's "Chase the Dragon" (Max Romeo) - so if you like the reggae bit in it - I'd suggest looking out for some stuff of his - the Arkology triple CD comp of his stuff from 75-79 is brilliant - and there's not many triple CDs you can say that about!!

If you like Massive Attack - look out for More Rockers/Smith & Mighty - a lot more Drum & Bass/ragga like but very similar roots (they're started about a similar time, if not before, in Bristol too).

I was really disappointed by the last Massive Attack, even if it remains Massive Attack. Pop well produced but flat and without heart. (come back Craig! ) But that's just my point of view...

>> Underworld: Born sleepy
>> Clubbed to death: The Matrix (huge and unforgettable and shivering trax)
>> I love Prodigy too (Fire Starter, smack my bitch up, above all, with this perfect contrast between Techno Rock and breakbeat orientalism: Fantastic).

I think so too, its a depressive sort of album, quite dark and moody - want my money back!           Within this timeless gathering,
a shining light does dance,
lost from conscious memory,
but visible in trance!

Yayaille !!

I've recently got two albums from Up, Bustle & Out.... I was FOND OF them since the hearing of "Emerald Alley" on the Thievery Corp.'s Dj-Kicks Jam (full of citars track)

They are :

- One Color Just Reflects Another (1996)
- Master Sessions 2, Calle 23 (2001)

This is VERY eclectic Music..... they make everything, it is a mixture of musical adventures, journeys.... based (if i'm not wrong in Bristol UK) they released a lot of stuff on several labels (Forever Groove Records, Ninja Tunes,...). So many influences enriched by travels with DAT recorder are involved in their creation !

You've just reminded me to dig out some Up Bustle & Out - haven't played any of their stuff for years & its really good! They used to be a great live act too - but not sure what they're up to these days.

As far as I understand - the new Masive Attack album only has one of the original 3 - so maybe thats why its missing something.
