Hey,
this is a place, where you can recommend fantastic Jazz works. I know Jazz is Jazz, but for me Jazz can also be Chill Out My favourite Jazz-CD: "Senzo" by Abdullah Ibrahim:

Also Neil Cowley...he used to be in Green Nuns of the Revolution but you wouldn't know it listening to this stuff...

I love listening to Alice Coltrane if I've had a full on day , I need to get some more of her stuff , this is gold imho...
or try Mulatu Astatke , super laid back and a touch of funky

i love acoustic jazz live, but for listening at home usually gravitate toward the ethnic fusion variety. here's a couple of my fav's
probably the most obvious, but on the off chance someone didn't know... 2 cd's that should be in everyone's jazz/chill collection. digital samsara - "blue beryl" and "ceasefire"
if you like those, definitely check out vladiswar nadishana's projects too. here's a sample. he's very prolific and (imho) a genius of ethnic/jazz/fusion stuff...
i'm sure i'll have a few more to post. looking forward to the responses here too!
