Nice one.Unfortunately I'm not fan of the new "glitchy/minimal" vibe running around, not my cup of tea.But I do appreciate the work of all other ambient tracks, very beautiful! Artwork is very nice as well.Good job, actual and proper sounds from nowadays.

I, on the other hand, am a fan of all that. Downloaded and listened yetserday. Loved it. Managed to acticvely listen to the first half more than the second half. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality here. Was expecting an amount of generic psychill on there, buy hey, there's none of that at all.

Standout tracks for me so far are the first three from Mythematica, Field Rotation (i have yet to hear a mediocre track from this man) and the Ambientum (lovely track also). And really liked bOb Tracker's track also. But yeah, all good here!

Keep up the good work Chillbase!

Its a personal opinion here.As it was free so my thoughts!
Having brainless people on Discogs, per instance(!) rating a release really low after d/l it for free is a plea and just vandalize the website and the label.

On another hand, a release you are awaiting from an established label that turned you off is worth a low rating to express such a disappointment.

I have a lot of favs from many labels and from timeless releases. Each label can explore the depths of the music styles as they wish. And this is great actually!

Each individual label brings a unique flavour !

I agree with everything you said there, I was asking you more on a personal level what styles or aspects strike your fancy the most. Like I have a tendency to be enamored with modal harmonies, rock or funk based breaks, complex but distinct poly-rhythmic structures, string guitars or psychedelic/progressive electric guitars.

By various themes I mean we don't want to typecast the netlabel as a specific style of Chillout, we want to do compilation releases from the many corners of Chillout music. We want to be able to provide something for everyone's taste.           blip.fm/itranscendence

I do like this lot after repeated listens. The only problem - which isn't really a problem at all - is that I had to cut two tracks when burning it to a cd.

Though those two tracks will end up on another burnt cd of other digital tracks i've bought anyway, so no biggie.

I will burn tracks 01-08 on one CD and 09-14 on another. Imo this layout works perfectly.           www.ambientium.com

If you really want to know...well it's much easier to tell you the ones that are turning me down: glitch, minimal, industrial and dubstep.
I like all the rest, this is a pretty large palette of sounds I guess.
