Hello everyone!

Don't you think a proper psychedelic party should have a chill out area?

I think it's a must acually.

Psy parties are nice, but it may also feel a little weird to just go to party on a Saturday night after a whole week's work (whatever that may be), listen, dance or trip to psy trance and then get back into the every day world.

A trip should have many stages. So should a party.

I just think a Chill Out area should exist in every psychedelic party. To start and finish your little journey...

I always like to spend some time in these chill out areas, but for some reasons I can never make it

usually full power on the dancefloor and then collapse

Right now i spend almost all the time in the chillout area of the festival enjoying the psychedelic music and even dancing to it is great...I don't know why i would go to trance festivals if there was no chillout right now actually. It's the music i love most, it is the most psychedelic plus the people who make it are also great people! A chillout area is a definate need in a party or festival especially if the dancefloor is not psychedelic!

i totally agree, i ve had some of my best times in the chillout areas
but i think the problem with having a chillout area in small parties is the lack of space. you should at least set it up far enough from the main stage to isolate the sound.

Every party should have a chillout area imo.

In Brazil, orgs don't feel the need to "invest" on a chillout space, with pillows and places to lay down.
They only focus on the Main Stage.

Sometimes, they even place a Alternative Floor. The problem is, DJ's never play chillout music. Only Electro-House and Minimal.

I really miss a good Chillout area...

Parties should only have a chillout area if the organizer is prepared to invest enough in it, to present a decent lineup on decent equipment and so forth.

Sadly, we have seen it the other way around here in Denmark all too often.

The effect is that chillout is dubbed "second rate music", and its only there so it can be written on a flyer. Which is sad, and it hurts the music, when it is not handled with respect.

But yeah, if there can be a GOOD chillout, thats just great.

It's time to move on to the next step in the psychedelic revolution. We've reached a certain point, but we're not moving any more.
