hehe well i think i might come along whoever it is.
I like the chichime atmosphere.... perfect way to spend the new year... Just so long as it is a nice surprise, not a nasty shock. That would be a shock if the guest is david hasselhof for example....

kristian, have a quick listen to spanish attack by Raul Jordan, just for curiosity.
he played at party we did last year in OCtober, have a look at the few pictures under foto section ;Sendero de Merlin.
Honestly dont know who the girl I am 'dancing' with is...

hey boys the act for new year's party is S-Range. There might also be someone else but nothing is confirmed yet. Have a good one. Maybe for some is not a surprise listening to this name as he's been here before, but I'm sure he will rock on New Years as he did last time! |

once, i was at a large rave festival in the US where S-Range played (on a small trance stage) ... at around 6:00am, in the middle of his set, just as the sun was rising and the groove was really starting to kick ... the security kicked us all out with the music still playing ...
this sentence might be false. |

so I was at Chichime on Sunday morning.... I dont feel really qualified to give a review as such cos I only arrived at about 7.... but :
as per usual at chichime, the event which noone can pronounce, I had a smashing time!
From what I understand it was a bit quiet earlier on, but quite a few people came over from the Rex. Simo and Marchello were playing back to back and very enjoyable their set was. (hmm sound like yoda i do)
I was a little tired so spent some time sitting in the 'eclectic room' listening to Henry play some really good prog house. It was low bpm but with a good dose of psychedelic noises.... exactly what I wanted at that stage. In fact I thought my dancing days were over, until I noticed what was going on in the main room.
I dunno who it was (was it Fortu?) but he was playing a FANTASTIC set and I was unable to stop jumping around until hometime. Really good driving stuff.... No cheese here, not so many long synth riffs either, but lots of acid loops and dark kicks+basslines. In fact this is what made me happy: it was a great contrast with tip.World earlier. The music at Chichime (and especially this last set) was much more my thing than the tip.world party.
Great way to spend sunday morning! Plus i got to have a chat with some friends who had not been at the rex so that was good too!
Edit: ok i am told it was Red Five i was leaping around to. Ok right now I am booking my train ticket to brighton for the next 180 degrees:)
