I will be stopping in Chicago tomorrow (Wednesday 9-9-08) en route to Earthdance in WI from Philly.
What is cool to do in Chicago on a Wed. night? This will be my first time in Chicago (or in the midwest for that matter) and I would really like to see some cool parts of the city.
This doesn't have to be trance related. If someone could just point me in the direction of a part of town where mostly musicians/punks/trancers/artists reside, it would be much appreciated.
I am not asking to meet up with or meet anyone; just seeking a bit of friendly advice.
Thanks and Namaste

Recently there's no place/venue where local trancers/artists etc. reside.
Please specify what exactly are you looking for - maybe I can help you

Well, I wasn't refering to a specific domicile, per se; just maybe a neighborhood or part of town where a lot of cool, open-minded people live.
Definitely looking for some good eats and maybe a cool bar or two. A venue that has underground music (rockish or electronic) would also be on my to-do list.
An artsy or avante-garde neighborhood is desired.
Thanks much!!!
BTW @ Damon, I really enjoyed your North Crook set at GMSF2008!
