Thanks for the promotion Jello buddy! I made this site with a friend. All the hardwork finally paid off... The english version is just about ready and the galleries too. Make sure to check back. We are defiently interested in the chemical Crew project. Hope to get a response soon. |

Very nice ! No doubt...
Heaps of work to do that in Flash... sure.
But with Flash sites, there is one thing I don't like and people around here should think about.
Label websites are about releases and parties... but with a Flash site, there is no easy way for visitors to cut/paste the infos... No way to paste track list, line-up, cd covers, flyers on other website and forums...
The infos is just trapped there and don't circulate... (unless there is a text/html version but it takes already so long to update Flash site compare to php/html ones...)

Sorry Tris, but the concerns you mentioned is misconceptions.
You CAN make flash behave with text just as html.
Many designers is admittedly lazy with that.
And you can also make dynamic flash sites driven by php.
There is very little limitations with flash, and if you like you can totally duplicate html behaviour within flash, it's up to designer.
Sorry for the little bit off topic...... the site looks great, really well designed, but obviously could be a bit less heavy on bandwith and smoother to navigate. |

So...
As a general observation (I don't want to talk against Dende here. It's a beautiful website !), webdesigners should do it and website owners should insist to have their site working this way...
But to often they don't and imho, they're wrong...
