Hi all,
for the first time in my life I broke the magic 130 BPM barrier and tried to make real prog psy. It turned out kinda cheesy I guess, but I went to a Jean Michel Jarre concert a few weeks ago and was inspired.
As this is my first voyage above 130 BPM and into real trancey territories with a straight up K-BB bassline (galopping horses!!!), all feedback is appreciated, this is just a rough first draft of the track, theres still a lot of work and finetuning left...

I see what you're doing and i like it, after the 3.50min break i think you should add more elements, swirling pads and a more open hat to throw the listener higher but maybe u want that way Don't feel cheesy at all. Feels spacial in a Easily Embarrased kinda way
The name of the track, don't know what it means but i think SBK had a track with that name

Ok, i'll give u a step by step.
Cool into, very 90's art of trance vibe. loved the german dude vocals, works well with the ambiance pad.
I didn't like the way the kick bursts in without an intro. for me the kick is king, it needs trumpets and a red carpet before i introduce it (unless it's already on from the beginning)
The Drum fill is obviously sliced, it doesn't fit there at all. i'd get that fixed. also, the sfx that bursts with the fill is not synced in key, so it sounds a bit inharmonic.
Kick is clipping, try filtering every channel's low freqs. i liked the grinding clap, but it need ssome work. hats needs work as well. try reverbing them and sidechaining them with some mild sc (set the release to very short)
again with that drum fill.....
ok nice introduction to the new stabby sfx. oh no, you broke it in without syncing. not good.
That electric stab is pretty good. ok, buildup now. ok, u used the same drum fill and break sfx, i wouldn't use them all the time because they lose their power when you spray them all over the track.
NRG lead, nice sound, but it's too strong. i'd mix the track a little bit more before posting it.
Ok, nice break around 4:55, it's short but it's to the point. you just cut the volume and let the silence do its job. now do the same thing for the other parts.
lots of space in your track, pretty good. theres plenty of cheese, but it fits. new buildup. that new plucky lead sounds good, but the melody itself is not to my taste, i'd redo it. there goes that sliced drum fill again.
Ok, you used the same sliced drum fill in the outro...
Overall, you got some good ideas, but you need to put in more work. this track could be good, but you need to work it, listen to it a thousand times, compare it to other released stuff.
Hope i helped
