Your opinions are highly welcomed as much as professional tips.

your bassline and parts are very Acidic... but they need to be balanced - i can hardly hear the kick or anything else.
some more EQ on the bassline would be nice...
this isnt really a trance tune... this is more a club-acid-house piece, which is nice..
your parts are rather empty, and the lack more presence. the bassline's sound, though cool, doesnt fit the track. it should be deeper, both in sound and pitch, so it can give the drive your tracks requiers...

nice synth parts on 2.58, again, those are also Flat. try adding some reverb and some chorus to add some body to it..

much to work on... your sounds on 4:04 sound like they came out of a video game, both in sound and in structure, try making it a bit more illusive in sound and structure... try having a consistent bassline to the duration of the track, with as little changes as possible..
this piece lacks a point.. it goes nowhere, and stays on the same beat with some synths to accompany it. try adding some more hi hats games, a snare, an open hi hat line, make it more massive in certain points...
keep working, the potential is there, but you need to start working on your sound and structure.           "We Do Not Allways See Things As They Are. We See Things As We Are" -Ancient Chinese Proverb

This track has some EQ problems. Also it sounds to Fruity Loopish. Try to get new sounds from other plugins. The sounds in fruity are in bad quality.
If i get a little more harsh.
I cant quite see the story in your track, Too many different sounds are put into this track and the come out of nowhere.
Well good luck mate.
Like jason said i think you need a solid structure to put in your sounds and stuff into.

Hi gays!

Perhaps some of the points were created specifically to underline the unique atmosphere and the purpose was to make it not like other tracks or anyhow close to standards.

Anyway really thanks(!) for the tips and comments regarding the sound - I'll work on it in the future, trying more software and techniques.

I think I understand where you're trying to go too - is it just me or are you trying to take the richness of structure in progressive and add to that more classic layers of sound (choices are rather housey).

I have nothing to add over what was already said except - did you try lowering it to 128bpm? Just a thought.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222
