a few remarks.
sounds like you did it in an old midi tracker as far as it comes to the melodic (piano and synth) and bass lines. the percussions and beat section (Kicks, snares, crashes, hats etc.,) sound very low quality. the basic concept is nice, more swedish/euro-pop than trance if you want my opinion.
you got potential, but you gotta work on the sounds.
the cookie thing is better in terms of kick line, but the sounds there, like the basslines sound really thin and incospicous. so are the hats.
a lot of peaks coming in and out at certain levels of the track. |

Maxim - First of all, you should move to a more minor and less melodic scale fast... You have some great ideas, but nothing will sound evil in this style, so it keeps on sounding a bit old-school technoish...
Just a reminder, to the leads/fills always check if there's a delay/reverb effect (usually delay is better for lines and reverb for percussion, but not always) to give everything a more full sound, and maybe some soft puncher on the sounds which aren't "full" enough.
Let's leave the technical side alone, and get to the fact that the structure is unorganized... eg Hunting on Ichty 3:27+.... just loses the momentum of the break.
This is not easy for someone inexperienced, but you should work on a sense of drama for your tracks. Until you feel that each of the lines enters when it's in place and is used properly, well, keep on tweaking the track until it "fits".
Some of the elements are very interesting, and definately some very refreshing ideas there, but since it's in a "happy" scale and sound, and there are no powerful dramatic entries and breakdowns, the tracks just don't gain momentum and sound pretty cluby... the psychedelic ideas get lost in the way. eg. Itchy Hunting You at 0:54 has a LOT of energy (if you'd leave 2 bars of silence other than the drumloop with a gradual decrease in lowpass before you continue, notice how much more the entry is accented), but it just gets lost in the next part. Make element you make count.
And work those breakbeats more aggressively, they're really good and energetic, but make them more dominant and you'll get a great groove on them.
Anyways, lot's of good music, but the ideas get lost. Ohh yeah. Distortion is fun, use it :) |

2 Jason - i didn't do that on old midi trackser;) it is reason. Why piano - 'coz i love it. I played piano for 7 years and love that sound.
Low quality of beats and other drum stuff - the question of preservation. I used the worst codec i could find. Just because some people in my city like to steal music from internet :( The same thing with overdriving channels. Ive got this material good mastered in .wav

Kaz^ - u crazy feedbacker :) SURE i'll take into account all u write here. You know i like psy trance.. i like to listen to it, to dance to it, but i don't like to make it. You c? I like to deal with melodic and sad stuff.
I'm agree about adding reverb to hatz and delay to fills. But u take into acount another thingy - didn't use ANY hardware divece. Also my computer sucks BIG cock, i just don't want to write here about it. I can send you private mess with details and i'm protestated - you will be absolutely surprised :)
And one more thing - i'll make psy trance track specially for you, my friend.
Anyway, thanks guys and write more. Like Asaf :)
