What do you guys think of me getting a laptop with tractor and a BCD3000 BEHRINGER just as a first time setup to start out with? DOn't reli plan at playing at parties yet and I'm gonna borrow a CD jay mixer from a friend but also wanna try out tractor. Any tips?

my cheap starter setup was 2 cdj 100s and a djm 300 plus coffin. $450 on eBay. afaik theyre still playing fine 5 yrs later (got em used no less)

but with the digi option you really dont have the worry like you would with cheapo cdjs. Traktor is Traktor, if the lappy runs it, good. Behringer isnt Rane or Allen and HEath but its a damn sight better than a noname or Ion. Id say its the Top Ramen of mixer brands, it does the intended job, but isnt exactly haute cuisine.
