i cant believe its so expensive over there! quite a surprise that something is actually cheaper in the US. sorry i couldnt help more. ill do a little more research and get back with you.

behringer mixers may not be the best choice. i have heard some pretty weird things about them, but i havnt tried them myself.

anyhoo, ill talk to you later.           The IsraTrance MySpace Group:

I have a Behringer and it sucks the Fx and the quality of the material, also there's some static in the signal.....

Check the clearance corner and B-stock of Turnkey and Digital Village, i would buy a Numark they have some cheap ones and they just do the job, don't think they have kill buttons, but usually kill buttons don't work very well..... A cheap mixer is always not very well built, if this is your first buy a cheap one.... if you are an experienced DJ just buy something better, i have a DJM600 for almost 3,5 years and only now i have a loose fx button......

I've used a DJX700 in the past and i can say that it's a very good mixer for its price ! It's nice to have it at home or use it at a small party ... no prob ... got some cool fx on it too .
It's not a pro mixer though by any means. IT DOES have lots of hiss in the audio signal (most noticable in big audio systems) and lacks in built quality ... e.g. after a while the gain knobs produce crackle .

To the topic now , since you're looking for something good , cheap and simple i'd suggest looking at vestax .. the VMC - 002 for example ... comes at a very good price ... about 170 eu i think . It doesn't have kill switches though but has the 3 band isolator wihich is more fun imho.
cheers
