Couple of friends tracked him down in Bombay and made this short documentary, check it out...
He sold all of the gear and bough some very generic stuff because he never really understood the significance of this record... it predates the first acid house record by over four years as well as the whole Goa scene by many more years. Chronologically he is the first, and at the time his music was already more mature and developed than the first techno records that came out so many years later.
These guys have now managed to put him back on tour this year with this sound, he'll be playing all over Europe with the 303, 808 and Jupiter 8.

Very nice documentary, didn't know about Charanjit Singh, however now I know. Thanks and hope he gets the recognition that he deserves.
Mushrooms make you do crazy stuff. Look at Mario he jumps on animal heads and fights with dragons.
