How important is the aspect of a change in the timbre of a sound ?
My "pop,trance " songs often appear quite boring, i believe it´s because i don´t have any change in the timbre.
So my question how often should the timbre
change so it doesn´t get boring.
Every beat or just at some specifik places in the song ?

any tips on using modulation on z3ta+, or any resources that i could learn about modulation will be helpful
